We welcomed Swedish midfielder Jonathan Svedberg in a deal through until the summer of 2026 at the start of this year. 

Jonathan has spent his entire professional career at Halmstads BK, who play in the Allsvenskan – the top tier of football in Sweden.

Making his first team debut for HBK back in 2016, the 25-year-old moved on to play 233 matches for the club.

A youth internationalist for Sweden, he holds great excitement to make the switch to Scotland to join us here at St Johnstone.
