Our 2014 Scottish Cup Winners' Anniversary Dinner

A fabulous time was had by all at our 2014 Scottish Cup Winners’ Anniversary Dinner - sponsored by Sidey - at Perth Concert Hall on Saturday night.

Hosted by Eilidh Barbour, a packed-out Fair City venue welcomed back many of the squad and staff from that memorable triumph for an evening of celebration and reminiscing.

Proceedings were kicked-off with a welcome from current CEO Francis Smith before a game of heads and tails – hosted by Chris Millar – started what was to be hours of entertainment and laughs.

The room then went quiet as Tommy Wright, the first St Johnstone manager to bring major silverware to the club, recalled the run to the final and described what it meant to deliver such joy to the city during an insightful question and answer session.

A wonderful meal was provided by Kitchen Toque before the audience then heard from plenty of familiar faces who made the dream a reality.

There was a raffle and very successful auction – with some fantastic input from the 2014 squad – before the night was brought to a close with the full room up dancing and singing.

“When the Saints went up to lift the Scottish Cup, we were there” echoed around the auditorium as guests headed for the exit.

We would like to thank those who made the evening possible including, of course, everyone who attended, main sponsor Sidey, caterers Kitchen Toque, Alliance, the SFA, the Scottish Football Museum and Stuart Cowper for taking photos.

Our grateful thanks also go to Perth Concert Hall who were superb hosts from start to finish.
