Olivia Hurrell named in SWPL Team of the Week

St Johnstone Women's striker Olivia Hurrell has been named in the SWPL Team of the Week.

Olivia netted twice as Saints defeated top of the table Hamilton on Sunday, in what was a huge win for Josh Henderson's side.

Saints now head into the Scottish Cup weekend full of confidence with Aberdeen the opponents this Sunday in the last 16 of the competition.

On Olivia's performance, head coach Josh said: "I had to bring Liv off the bench as she had been under the weather during the week.

"When you bring her on you always know she has goals in her. She took both of her goals very well.

"The first one, I don't think she will ever hit one sweeter than that. Credit to her, coming straight off the bench and getting those two goals.

"It was a great team performance though. It was great to see."

Looking ahead to Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup, Josh added: "It will be another tough game, a team who are in the top division.

"We will need to be at it. The result against Hamilton gives us confidence."
