New recruit Isaac 'Tanto' Olaofe is excited about the "huge opportunity" he has to showcase his abilities in the Scottish Premiership following his arrival on-loan from Millwall.

Tanto - who spent a short period on-loan at National Leaugue outfit Sutton United last season - worked with Manager Callum Davidson at Millwall and is looking forward to doing so once again at McDiarmid Park.

"I've known about the possibility of coming here for a few weeks now," he said, "and I'm really looking forward to getting started.

"I'm eager to crack on with the lads and show everyone what I can do. I feel like it's a huge opportunity for me playing in the Scottish Premiership and a chance for me to get some game time.

"I had a good experience with Sutton United it was just unfortunate that it was cut short. I managed to get five games under my belt and I feel like I did alright despite my time there ending prematurely due to the pandemic.

"I'm looking forward to working with the Manager again. At Millwall he spoke to me a lot and really tried to improve my game on the training pitch with his tips."

On his nickname, the 20-year-old striker said: "It comes from my middle name. Everyone always calls me Tanto!"

Tanto spoke to Saints TV today along with his Millwall teammate and fellow new recruit Danny McNamara.
