Players add pedal power to support local fundraiser
7th March 2025

First team squad members Daniels Balodis and Victor Griffith stepped up a gear to help contribute to a charity fundraiser in aid of the St Johnstone Community Trust this week.
During the month of March, the dedicated team at Perth business Possible Estate Agents are embarking on an inspiring journey to pedal a total of 1884km.
Possible have been reaching out to local businesses, schools, passionate Saints fans, players, and club officials — both past and present — to reach their target.
Daniels and Victor supplied some pedal power after being warmly welcomed by the team at Possible and saddled up for the challenge just after Danny Griffin and Jack Nield from Saints in the Community.
Victor said: “It was very nice to be able to meet the friendly team at Possible and to help raise awareness of the challenge.
“I have not been at the club too long, but already I can see the important work that Saints in the Community do on a daily and weekly basis.
“I would like to wish Possible well for the rest of their challenge – keep on pedalling!”
Possible hope to make a significant impact with this challenge while helping to raise awareness and financial support for the invaluable work of Saints in the Community.
“I have been a Saints fan all my life having attended my first game at Muirton Park when I was one,” said Gary Robertson, owner of Possible.
“On a personal note, it was a proud moment to be able to welcome some of the current team and staff from Saints in the Community to visit my own business to get involved. It’s been really heartwarming to see the support we’re getting for the challenge.
“Although the team and I have been pedalling virtually every day on the bikes set up in our office, we’ve had Saints fans, local businesses, OAP’s, people living abroad, a local gym and a primary school now getting involved.
“We have some ex-players getting on board too, including Paul Cherry who is aiming to cycle a kilometre for every appearance he made for Saints during his time.
“When an entire community pulls together for the greater good, anything is possible.”
Everyone at the club wishes Possible all the very best with the remainder of their challenge.
