LAST TIME OUT: KILMARNOCK

Kilmarnock were not in Scottish Gas Scottish Cup action last weekend and were most recently in action on Saturday, February 1.

Derek McInnes’ side ground out a 1-0 win against Dundee United at Rugby Park on that occasion, with the winner coming as the game started to reach its latter stages.

It was Marley Watkins who wheeled off in celebration after bundling the ball into the back of the net on 72 minutes. He had challenged goalkeeper Jack Walton in the air and, despite protests from the visitors, the goal stood.

Killie sit ninth in the current William Hill Premiership standings.

The defence and goalkeeper Andy Fisher held firm throughout six minutes of additional time before the final whistle sounded.

LAST TIME OUT: SAINTS

We marched into the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup last Saturday thanks to a deserved but narrow 1-0 win against Hamilton.

The Scottish Championship outfit defended resolutely and soaked up a lot of Saints pressure in both the first and second half.

But substitute Adama Sidibeh proved to be the match-winner when his instinctive finish left goalkeeper Dean Lyness with no chance in the 87th minute.

Graham Carey had initially gone for goal from distance and, as the ball whizzed into the box, Sidibeh glanced it into the opposite corner.

There were four club debuts in total: Daniels Balodis, Jonathan Svedberg, Stephen Duke-McKenna and Zach Mitchell.
