Gordon and McCawl visit Tulloch
13th February 2017
Monday 13th February
Saints players Liam Gordon and Eoghan McCawl spoke to P4 pupils at Tulloch Primary School this afternoon as part of the #SaintsInSchools programme to engage the club and it's players with the local community.
The 21-year-olds told the class about how they first got into football and what it took to make it as a professional footballer in St. Johnstone's first team squad.
Liam and Eoghan took questions and showed a couple of video clips before handing out signed programmes to the excited pupils. They also handed out fliers promoting the Saints in the Community Trust's Saturday sessions, which Perth-born Liam Gordon used to take part in as a child.
The duo were also there to promote our #SaintsDay home match with Kilmarnock on Saturday 25th February, where it's only £16 for an adult and two U13's to enter the SSE Ormond Family Stand.
This was Saints' second visit to Tulloch Primary School this season following one in November from Steven MacLean and Blair Alston.
