Coulson and Hunter visit Inch View
31st January 2017
Tuesday 31st January
Saints players Michael Coulson and George Hunter visited Inch View Primary School in Perth on Monday afternoon, alongside the club’s School Engagement Manager, Megan Moss. An assembly with P3-P7 pupils was held as the three discussed that while being a professional athlete requires hard work and focus, it is important not to forget to have fun playing the sport.
At the end of the assembly, Megan played the much publicised promotional music video for last Saturday’s home match against Accies (featuring both players in attendance), which had many of the kids singing along.

Megan said: “After a successful weekend as well as the attention we received for the #PaintItBlue campaign, it was great to see how enthusiastic and engaged the kids were to have us at their school.
“Building on from last week, we want to continue engaging new young fans, and get them excited about football and supporting St. Johnstone. We let the kids know we'll have more campaigns that will get them excited about coming to McDiarmid Park this season.”
George Hunter, doing his first school visit for the club, said: "Doing school visits are important because being close to the community is a must and I'm sure all the kids enjoyed asking questions and getting to know what it's like to be a footballer!"
