MURRAY MISSES OUT ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Murray Davidson is OUT of the Scotland Under 21 match against Azerbaijan at the Falkirk Stadium tomorrow night.

The Saints midfielder picked up a knock in Saturday’s game at Easter Road and although he joined up with his international colleagues yesterday, he struggled to train this morning and was brought back to McDiarmid Park by the SFA doctor for treatment.

“It’s very disappointing” said the player this afternoon. “I did my best to train this morning but I just wasn’t comfortable. It’s a real blow having just met up with the rest of the squad yesterday but I’ll just need to hope for further chances.”

Murray also missed out on a previous Under 21 squad last autumn due to injury.
