St. Johnstone have beaten off competition to win the signature of highly-rated youngster George Hunter from Lowland League side Spartans until the summer of 2017. The 18-year-old, who was formerly with Livingston, scored a remarkable 34 goals in 14 matches for Spartans U20's side this season. George also bagged all 4 goals in a 4-2 win over Partick Thistle U20's in the 2nd round of this season's Scottish FA Youth Cup back in September.
