The Club is delighted to announce that long-serving midfielder Liam Craig, left-back Callum Booth and Youth Academy graduate Chris Kane have agreed contract extensions to January 2021.
Liam - who first arrived at McDiarmid Park on-loan from Falkirk in December 2007 - is second on the list of all-time St. Johnstone appearances and made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Club last season.
Callum Booth arrived in September 2019 on a free transfer and established himself as a first-team regular after making his debut in the 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock in December.
Striker Chris Kane came through the youth ranks at the Club and made his first-team debut in November 2013. He has played 162 times for the Club in all competitions.
Youngsters Jordan Northcott, Cammy Ballantyne, John Robertson and Oliver Hamilton have also agreed extensions to their contracts.
The Club remains in dialogue with a number of other players regarding contract extensions and we have also spoken to those players who will not be offered new deals.
Danny Swanson, Max Johnstone, Ross Callachan, David McMillan, Euan O’Reilly and Shaun Struthers will leave the Club upon the expiry of their contracts. We’d like to thank all the players for their efforts during their time at St. Johnstone and we wish them every success in their futures.
