Tribute | Jim Walker

St. Johnstone Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of former player Jim Walker.
Jim joined Saints from Southend United having been signed by then manager Bobby Brown in November 1958.
He made his debut for the club against East Fife on 15th November 1958 and introduced himself to the Muirton Park faithful with a brace. He was part of the Saints side that won the Second Division title in the 1959/60 campaign.
Jim made 118 appearances in all competitions for Saints in four seasons with the club, scoring 20 goals. He moved to East Fife in 1962 on a free transfer and also lists Clydebank and Rangers amongst his previous clubs.
The thoughts of everybody at the club are with Jim's family and friends at this time.
