Saints In The Community Sleeve Sponsor

St Johnstone are delighted to welcome our community partner Saints In The Community as our sleeve sponsor for the first time!

Their logo will appear on the home and away kits for the coming season for both our men and women's sides.

CEO of Saints In The Community, Francis Smith, spoke about the sponsorship:

“When this opportunity arose, myself and the Trustees jumped at the chance to support the Club and build the brand of The St Johnstone Community Trust, widely known as Saints in the Community. We are a stand-alone charitable organisation, and the staff team are so proud of the work they do in the community which supports the Club’s reputation. In 2022, we delivered more than 1,390 sessions across Perth & Kinross and saw over 20,000 attendances at these. The charity’s logo featuring on the Men’s and Women’s shirt sleeve will hopefully bring added exposure to the fantastic work St Johnstone carry out throughout the community. In our new strategy, launched in June of this year, one of the Trust’s main impacts we hope to achieve is to increase the fanbase of St Johnstone Football Club and we will work hard to do that.”

“An already award-winning Community Trust, the last couple of months have been particularly memorable after being named in the longlist for the European Football for Development Network’s #MoreThanFootball award alongside Club’s across the continent including FC Twente, Ferencvarosi and FC Midtjylland. To have our Saints Academy INclusion Through Sport (SAINTS) programme, a sporting support provision for mental health & wellbeing, learning disabilities, ADHD and Autism, be highlighted on the European stage is an achievement we’re very proud of. The shortlist of four projects is expected to be announced in September, and they will be invited to present at the 20th EFDN ‘Making Football Matter’ Conference in Athens to eventually find the winner.”

“Personally, the last 18 months has been mind-blowing and the Trust has seen massive growth. We have ambitions to continue our growth and will continue to support St Johnstone men’s & women’s teams where we can. Personally, to see ‘Saint in the Community’ on the match-day shirt sleeves will be awesome.

"The Trust will continue to change lives through sport and emphasise we are so much more than football."
