Ross Sinclair recalled from Montrose

The 21-year-old impressed during his spell at Montrose and is looking forward to the second half of the season at St Johnstone:

“It is a challenge that excites me. I am looking forward to coming back to Saints and challenging for the number one spot. This is another step forward in my career and it is now up to me to take this opportunity.

“Montrose was great for my development as a player, I loved every minute of my time there and I thank them for the opportunity they gave me. I went on loan to play first team football and I achieved that. I felt like I was training well at Saints, but I needed to put games on my CV to show I can play at a good level and compete for a starting position. The experience from my time at Montrose has helped me improve massively, hopefully I can carry on my progress here at Saints.

“Since I have been at Saints we have always had a tight knit group to work with, I think this is key as to why we have always had good goalkeepers. We create a positive environment every day in training and push each other to constantly develop by setting high standards."

Ross will return to St Johnstone on January 28th and push Remi Matthews for the number one spot.
