Match Preview: Aberdeen vs St Johnstone

Callum Davidson’s men make the trip north to Pittodrie today where they take on Aberdeen.
Saints are still looking for their first win of the season, whilst Aberdeen have struggled to find a win in their last six games.
Last week St Johnstone put on a valiant display against Rangers. The Perth side went ahead after Michael O’Halloran latched onto a wonderful ball over the top from Hayden Muller, the winger then turned Helander inside out before thundering the ball into the top corner.
Kemar Roofe would equalise from the spot for the visitors before James Tavernier’s wonder-strike put Rangers ahead.
The Dons succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at Fir Park against Motherwell. Stephen Glass’ side are looking for their first win in six games.
Both sides were knocked out of Europe prior to the international break and they will be looking to regain their place in Europe for next season.
The last time we met Aberdeen was back in April where Johnny Hayes’ 52nd minute strike was all that was needed to separate the two sides.
