Festive Friends lunch at McDiarmid Park

Saints in the Community hosted a three-course festive lunch at McDiarmid Park for 60 guests last week.

Delivered in partnership with The SPFL Trust, the event was designed to support socially-isolated older people in our communities.

This year the stadium lunch included decorations by The Balloon Studio, a three-course Christmas meal, bingo games and activities, music by The Neverly Sisters and surprise gifts from Santa.

One of the guests in attendance commented: “I’m so happy I could burst. That was just wonderful. Thank you for inviting me, I feel special.”

Players from women’s and men’s teams – as well as coaching staff – popped in to provide an additional surprise and some brilliant photo opportunities.

Alongside Saints in the Community, we would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended - we had a fantastic afternoon with you all.
