Chris Kane Signs New 2 Year Contract

The Football Club is delighted to announce that Chris Kane has signed a new two-year contract.
Chris has been at McDiarmid Park since 2012 and is now with us until the summer of 2023.
He has been an integral part of the success this season under Callum and has scored several important goals, including strikes against Rangers and St Mirren in the Scottish Cup.
Everyone at the Football Club is thrilled with the news of the latest player committing his future to Saints.
Chris said: "St Johnstone has been a massive part of my life and to know I am here for two more years is absolutely perfect. It's the outcome I wanted.
"This Football Club is where I want to be and I thank the Chairman and the Board for my contract.
"It was also a pleasure to deal with Scott Boyd at the Football Club during the negotiations as he is very professional. .
"This season has been incredible, the most exciting and satisfying one I've had.
"I'm really enjoying my football and feel I am making a worthwhile contribution in the park.
"I have to thank the manager, Stevie MacLean and Alex Cleland for everything. They have worked hard with me and taken time to improve how I play. Their belief in me has given me extra confidence.
"Little changes here and there have been so important and it has developed my game.
"I'm now looking forward to trying my best to help the team in our two remaining games of the season, against Livingston and the Scottish Cup Final against Hibs. It's exciting times."
