Alisdair Dewar joins board of directors

We are delighted to announce that Alisdair Dewar has been welcomed onto the board of directors of St Johnstone Football Club.  

Alisdair, a lifelong supporter of the club, joins with immediate effect and brings extensive leadership and financial experience to the board.

He is the Head of Scotland for Coutts, where he has responsibility for the bank’s three Scottish offices.

He has been with the NatWest Group for 30 years and during his career has held various positions within the private banking division.

A season ticket holder dating back to Muirton Park, Alisdair has supported the club on and off the pitch for many years and was delighted to (finally) win the club’s golf day in 2024 after 20 years of trying!

Chief executive Fran Smith said: “Welcoming Alisdair to the board of directors is a major coup for the club.

“Having someone join the board with such a stellar footing in the world of finance is important and his experience in that industry can only be beneficial for us.
