Alex Lamond statement

Alex gave great service to the club after joining the Board in March 1974 & - like his father before him - became Chairman, a position he held until Geoff Brown took over in 1986.

Alex helped guide Saints through some turbulent times in the 70s & 80s & his last visit to McDiarmid came in August when he attended the reunion of the 82/83 championship squad - he's pictured here with Stuart Beedie & Tam McNeil.
