88 - Jackson finds himself in the box again, but this time he is well shepherded by McCafferty

69 - SUBS - Saints replace Collin Samuel and Sam Parkin with Marcus Haber and Liam Caddis.

67 - Morton's closest chance of the game so far falls to substitute Peter Weatherson, but he has to watch his shot go narrowly by.

58 - Danny Grainger tests ex Saint Kevin Cuthbert with a swerving free kick, but the keeper saves well.

HALF TIME

36 - Collin Samuel beats Grant Evans to the ball and nears down on goal, but his fierce shot goes just wide. Seconds later, a speculative long range effort from Taylor was tipped over by Kevin Cuthbert

32 - Morton are pressing hard for the equaliser, and are unlucky when Stuart Grecean forces his shot wide while under pressure from Duberry.

28 - The game is settling into a midfield battle with neither side managing to break each others defences down. Saints will be happy to keep possession and their lead intact

23 - Morton immediately counter attack, they move forward in numbers and only a last ditch tackle from Maybury for a corner kick, thwarts the on running Stuart Kean

21 - GOAL - Saints take the lead. A superb piece of wing play from Collin Samuel resulted in a high hung cross, for Scott Dobie to head home.

17 - Morton have their first reasonable chance, a cross from Stuart Kean is headed towards goal by Ryan Kane, but Smith grabs the ball from under the crossbar.

Derek McInnes is forced into changes. Graeme Smith, Scott Dobbie and Collin Samuel start the game, replacing Peter Enckelman, Marcus Haber and Jody Morris. The rain, which lashed Perth earlier on, has finally stopped and the sun has broken through.
