SCOTRAIL PROVIDE CUP FINAL SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES

SCOTRAIL PROVIDE CUP FINAL SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES

26th July 2016

Saints are delighted to announce that the club and ScotRail have arranged for exclusive special train services for the use of St Johnstone supporters only to run between Perth and Glasgow for the Cup Final.

Train One will leave Perth at 0937 arriving 1147 at Glasgow Queen Street and returning to Perth at 1803 from Glasgow Queen Street.

On arrival at Glasgow Queen Street supporters should to the lower level station at the same location for trains to Bellgrove which is a short walk from Celtic Park.

Due to Network Rail engineering works near Stirling, journey times will be longer than normal, with trains arriving into Glasgow in plenty of time for fans to transfer on to services to Bellgrove, and then walk to Celtic Park. And return journey departure times will also take into account the possibility of extra time or penalties.

A second and third train will be available if there are sufficient numbers travelling.

A special, discounted fare of £15 adult return applies, valid only on these special services. A family ticket of one adult and one child only is £20 return. Onward return travel from Glasgow Queen Street to Bellgrove is included.

Rail tickets are only available for purchase with proof of match ticket from the McDiarmid Park Souvenir Shop in the Ormond Stand from 0930 until 1600 on Thursday 1st May and Friday 2nd May. Details on further ticket sales will be announced along with information on second and third trains if required.

IMPORTANT NOTES • Tickets can only be purchased at McDiarmid Park as detailed above and not at this stage at any ScotRail station or online.

• Seats are limited, so early purchase is advised.

• Tickets are valid between Perth and Glasgow Queen Street, plus the onward connecting services between Glasgow Queen Street and Bellgrove.

• No further reductions for Railcard holders.

• Alcohol is prohibited on special train services. Stewards and/or BTP will be on board.

• Advertised return train times are from Glasgow Queen Street and passengers should ensure that they return from Bellgrove in sufficient time for the special return service to Dundee or Perth.

• Tickets are valid only on these special services. Customers who miss the train will require to buy new tickets and travel by normal scheduled services if available.

• Children must be under 16 years of age and accompanied by an adult.

• Tickets are not transferable and will be checked.

• Note return train times have still to be confirmed and may be subject to change. Advice will be posted on ScotRail and St Johnstone websites with a reminder on the day of travel.
