COMMUNITY COACHING WEEKLY UPDATE

SAINTS TRAINING WEEK Along with a full programme of two day courses at McDiarmid Park and around the county, we are holding Saints Training Week between 14th and 18th April. Boys and girls between 5 and 16 years of age are eligible to attend and the sessions run from 1pm to 4pm each day. Each participating player will receive full Saints training kit along with a complimentary family ticket to a Saints game. We also hope to have a visit from the First Team Squad. Cost is £75 per person. Places are limited and all the relevant booking information can be found in the Community Section of the website.

EASTER HOLIDAY TWO DAY COURSES Dates and times for our Easter Football Two Day Courses are as follows:- 7th and 8th April 10.30am Loch Leven Campus 7th and 8th April 1.00pm McDiarmid Park 8th and 9th April 10.30am Kilgraston School 9th and 10th April 1.00pm McDiarmid Park 10th and 11th April 10.30am Strathearn Campus 10th and 11th April 1.30pm Community School of Auchterarder 14th and 15th April 10.30am Pitlochry Rec 14th and 15th April 1.30pm Breadalbane Academy 16th and 17th April 10.30am Errol Park 16th and 17th April 1.30pm Blairgowrie Campus There is no need to pre-book any of the above – simply come along to the venue of your choice, pay £5 each day and join in. You do not need to attend both sessions, however, we would be delighted if you could. Everyone involved will receive one family ticket (per two day course) to a St. Johnstone Premier League fixture at McDiarmid Park.

SAINTS TRAINING SQUADS Everyone involved seems to be enjoying our Training squad programme at McDiarmid Park on Thursday evenings. Blue Cards on week three were awarded to Matthew Avery and Kai Finnie. If you are between Primary 5 and Secondary 2 age, you can still book for any of the remaining blocks in 2014. Relevant dates are:- Block 2 24 Apr to 29 May Block 3 21 Aug to 25 Sept Block 4 2 Oct to 20 Nov Each block costs £30 and this will include 1 family ticket to a Saints home game. There are still a few places available, however, THEY MUST BE BOOKED AND PAID FOR IN ADVANCE – details can be found on Saints Website.

GOALKEEPING SQUADS - SECOND BLOCK FULL We have had a great response to our Goalkeeping Training Programme on Thursdays at McDiarmid Park. Our second set of six sessions from 24 April to 29th May is now fully booked, however, there are places available for the remaining two blocks on the following dates:- 21st August to 25th September 2nd October to 20th November Blue Card last week went to Samuel Porritt. Saturday Morning Football Our popular Saturday morning football has been attracting good attendances at McDiarmid Park and sessions continue tomorrow as follows:- 9.30 to 10.30am for Primary 1 and 2 age 10.30 to 11.30am for Primary 3 and 4 age 11.30 to 12.30pm for Primary 5 to Secondary 2 age There is no need for you to pre-book – simply come along, pay the £3 entry fee and join in. You will require, however, to complete one of our registration forms and you will receive details of all Super Saints Community Football in 2014

SUPER Js The next Pre Match Club for Super J’s will be this Saturday 22nd March, when Saints play against Hibernian. The match kicks off at 3pm, therefore the club will start at the normal time of two o’clock. All members are welcome to come along.
