Saints consolidate their position in the top six with a well deserved win. After a tardy first half, the introduction of Michael Doughty gave a different dimension to the game and Saints dominated, creating good chances and taking a further two after scoring in the first half.

87 - In an attempt to assist his defence, Tade completely miss-kicks and the ball heads out for a throw-in. However, it is taken quickly and saints regain possession.

85 - Saints are content to play the ball around the midfield, as time ticks away.

83 - Tade attempts to set up MacLean, but his pass is deflected away from the Saints striker.

69 - GOAL SAINTS - Dave Mackay finds himself right in front of goal when a ball from Callum Davidson is placed right in front of him and he has the easiest of tasks to fire into the net.

68 - GOAL SAINTS - A corner from Liam Craig is not cleared, Tade gets onto the lose ball, falls to Vine who hooks it into the net.

57 - A long ball into the saint's area finds McGinn onside with only Mannus to beat, but he takes his time and allows a challenge to rob the ball. Weak claims for a penalty are waived away.

55 - Tade and Hasselbaink combine well but one pass too many clears any problems for the Aberdeen defence.

33 - Great chance, Rowan Vine sends a perfect through ball to Tade, but with only Langfield to beat he boots the ball against him.

31 - Goal kick Saints, Mannus struggles to keep the ball still, but eventually manges to find Liam Craig, however he is dispossessed and Aberdeen go on the counter attack.

29 - The recent rainfall is taking it's toll, with players sliding around and the pitch cutting up.

25 - Steven MacLean tries to thread a ball through a ruck of players, which allows Aberdeen to dismantle a decent saints move.

23 - Hasselbaink goes down under a heavy challenge, but the referee gives the decision the other way!
