23/24 Fixtures Announced

Saints fixtures for the 23/24 cinch Premiership season have been announced.
The much-anticipated fixture list for the 2023/24 cinch Premiership campaign was issued at 9am this morning and as always there is always plenty for management, players and fans to mull over.
Having opened last season with a home fixture against Hibs, our 23/24 campaign starts with another home match but this time against the other capital Premiership side Heart of Midlothian.
Our first away fixture then takes us to Dingwall on Saturday, August 12th to face a Ross County side who will still be buoyant from their great, late escape in last season’s play-offs.
A wider look at the league programme reveals that we meet the Glasgow sides four times before December is properly up and running and the first of those encounters comes on Saturday 26th August when we take a trip to face champions Celtic at Parkhead.
Other notable dates include the first Tayside derby of the season when Dundee FC come to the Fair City on the opening weekend in September - a month which also sees Rangers visit Perth.
Fixtures over the festive period are always eagerly anticipated and this season we have two away fixtures either side of Christmas Day at Kilmarnock and Livingston. Hibernian visit Perth in the final match of 2023 and we begin the New Year with a trip to Dens Park on 2nd January.
Looking further down the line, two of our final three fixtures before the league split are at McDiarmid Park with Dundee and Kilmarnock the visitors.
All in all, an interesting set of games for Steven MacLean and his men to tackle in the manager’s first full season at the helm.
