DEFENSIVE CHANGE INEVITABLE ON SATURDAY
26th July 2016
Derek McInnes is going to have one enforced change to his line-up for Saturday’s trip to face Clyde with central defender Stuart McCaffrey definitely sidelined due to injury.
The consistent former Inverness Caley man – he has started the last ten matches – limped out of last Saturday’s win over Ross County before half-time and has been diagnosed with a small calf tear and won’t be considered for the trip to Broadwood. However, hopes are high that the tear will have healed in time for the trip to Dens in a fortnight’s time – Saints have no game a week on Saturday, the 22nd November.
McInnes has Steven Anderson and Kevin James as options to replace McCaffrey.
