86 - Anderson brings down Sutton just outside the box. He is yellow carded. Motherwell can't make anything of the opportunity.

85 - Saints counter, Motherwell need to clear for a throw in.

84 - Motherwell have a chance after Jones gets down the left, his cross finds Sutton, but his pass goes out of play.

66 - Stevie May continues to cause Motherwell's defence all sorts of problems. A neat touch nearly sets up Samuel, the two strikers are linking up well.

65 - Jones tries to set up a Motherwell attack, but it is broken up by Anderson.

63 - Saints need to keep their composure fort the next few minutes, the Motherwell players were furious over the penalty decision.

61 - GOAL - Liam Craig places the ball past Randolph who goes the wrong way.

61 - Penalty Saints! from the corner, Duberry is fouled by Stephen Craigan. Liam Craig stands over the ball.

60 - Corner Saints, Millar's cross deflected out

58 - Free kick Saints - Duberry to Samuel, but he fouls his marker in the box and the referee judges against him.

57 - Motherwell are trying to build up attacks from well inside their own half, but the Saints midfield are well up to the task.

53 - Great run from Stevie May, he beats Hutchinson, sets himself up well before trying to place his shot past Randolph. The keeper can only put the ball out for a corner.

51 - Motherwell's turn to attack the Saint's defence, however Duberry and his co-defenders are up to the task and the danger is cleared.

49 - Some neat work involving May and Mackay breaks down when the cross is too strong. However they regain possession and test Randolph with a decent cross.

47 - Samuel finds May on the wing, they try the one-two but it doesn't come off and the attack is thwarted.

46 - Saints are immediately on the attack. Craig shoots over from 20 yards

45 - Samuel offside as it looks as though he will get through.

43 - Saints are now well on top, Samuel finds Liam Craig on the edge of the box, but the midfielder blast well over.

41 - May makes a decent run in the box for the corner, straight off the training ground, but it's wasted.

40 - Free Kick to Saints 35 yards out. Followed by a corner.

39 - Murphy disposes Liam Craig and has a go from 25 yards, there is plenty of power in the shot, but it flies past the post.

38 - Saints are putting a lot more pressure on the Motherwell defence.

37 - Although the pitch looks as though it is cutting up badly, this is night and day compared to Saturday's performance against St Mirren.

36 - A super tackle from Craigan stops Samuel in his tracks as the Saints front man is charging forward.

34 - Motherwell are coming more into the game, but they will need to improve their passing if they are really going to trouble the Saints defence.

32 - Motherwell win a series of throw-ins down their left flank, the ball eventually falls to Saunders, but his shot is woeful.

31 - Corner to Saints. Again some neat work involving Millar and Samuel, the cross deflects off of Craigan and goes out. Nothing comes of the corner.

29 - A really good piece of skill from Stevie May. He manages to get an overhead kick to Millar at the back post from a tight position, but Millar just can't connect.

27 - Free Kick Motherwell just inside the Saints half. Ball played to Humphrey who has been giving Saints some problems. Duberry tackles well.

25 - Samuel goes down just outside the Motherwell box. Free Kick in a dangerous area. Blasted against wall.

24 - Corner to Motherwell. Nothing comes of it.

22 - It's May again causing problems for the Motherwell defence. This time he wins a corner when Saunders is forced to clear as May heads towards goal.

20 - Mackay finds May in centre field, May strolls forward beating Craigan, but he lets the ball run just a little too far. The youngster is playing well though in his first start for the club.

18 - Free kick Saints, Liam Craig fouled. Grainger's pass is too strong though and the ball is out for a goal kick.

16 - Motherwell should have taken the lead. A scramble in the saints box left the ball clear for Murphy, but the striker lost his footing and could only direct the shot without power goalwards. Mackay clears on the line.

15 - Stevie May goes down in the box, the referee blows his whistle and as the saints fans celebrate, he shows the young striker the yellow card for diving!

14 - Good defending from Anderson finds Samuel, but his control lets him down.

12 - Motherwell's Hateley shoots over from long range

11 - Free kick Motherwell. Saunders finds Humphrey but Grainger clears the danger.

09 - Saints are playing some decent passing football, May and Millar are combining well.

07 - Duberry intercepts a Murphy pass heading for Sutton and directs the ball back to his keeper. From the goal kick, Mackay finds Samuel in the box, but his header is weak.

05 - Chris Humphrey gets inside Grainger, his shot is straight at Enckelman.
