TIME LINE V INVERNESS CALEY THISTLE
26th July 2016
90 + 3 mins - It's all over. A share of the points is probably about right but Saints will be regretting the missed Sam Parkin chance in the first half and the failure to get a goal from two great deliveries in the opening seconds of the second half. Final score: INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE 1 ST JOHNSTONE 1
90 + 2 mins - Inverness win a corner but an infrigement brings any danger to an end.
90 mins - There will be a minimum of 3 additional minutes. Caley press forward.
88 mins - Alan Maybury can have no complaints as he becomes Saints booking number three for a crude foul.
81 mins - Stuart Duff is harshly booked for a foul on Myrie-Williams.
80 mins - Caley scorer Hayes is the first home player booked for a foul on Haber. From the free kick, Ryan Esson misses the ball but Saints can't turn the error into a goal.
79 mins - Kevin Rutkiewicz comes on for Danny Grainger.
77 mins - A chance for Saints as Myrie-Williams breaks forward through the middle, beating two in the process but his parting effort is deflected for a fruitless corner.
75 mins - Saints rocking at this point and Adam Rooney flashes a header just inches wide of Smith's left hand post.
74 mins - Grant Munro heads over from a Stuart Duff corner as Saints look to get over the setback of losing the goal.
Saints make a change straight away with Jennison Myrie-Williams replacing Collin Samuel
71 minutes - GOAL CALEY. It's a simple affair as Richie Foran slides the ball forward and Johnny Hayes rushes into the space before slipping the ball under Smith and into the net ICT 1 SAINTS 1
70 mins - Caley's best chance of the game as Rooney gets his head on a cross but the legs of Graeme Smith deny him a goal.
67 minutes - ICT bring on Russell Duncan for Kevin McCann
65 mins - Liam Craig should do better - he skies one high into the Perth support when it is laid back to him. From a corner seconds later Liam does so again but this was a far harder task to keep the ball down.
63 mins - Munro snakes out a foot to prevent Samuel from turning in the six yard box. The corner is cleared. Marcus Haber replaces Sam Parkin in the first Saints change.
58 mins - This is a different Caley side from the first half at the moment and Rooney cuts in from the right to try his luck but Smith gathers the deflected effort.
56 mins - Danny Grainger is booked as he catches Hayes late. A definite foul but a yellow card looked harsh for a player who looked intent on getting the ball.
54 mins - Saints are having to defend resolutely for the first time in the game as Caley force a free kick and two corners in quick succession.
51 minutes - Dave Mackay is booked for crudely stopping Nick Ross. Sam Parkin has a head injury bandaged.
47 minutes - Two great chances for Saints in the space of 30 seconds - Andy Jackson fires in a great ball into the six yard box but there are no takers and then Collin Samuel's great cross from the same side is just outwith the reach of Sam Parkin.
46 minutes - We are off and running for the second half and there are no changes.
45 + 1 min - It's half time and Saints have been by far the better side. The home side's first glimpses of goal came in the 60 seconds before the break. The only worry from a Perth perspective is that our dominance has only given us a one goal advantage.
45 mins - Odhiambo has an effort on goal but the sting is taken out of it with a deflection and Smith gathers easily.
43 mins - Former Saints trialist Stuart Duff is with Caley now and he sets up the move which wins them a free kick wide left which in turn leads to a corner from the same side. From that kick Adam Rooney volleys into the ground and although there are appeals for a penalty as Eric Odhiambo is muscled out of things in the six yard area, referee Alan Muir is unmoved.
42 mins - Another nice move from Saints who are by far the better side but Chris Millar is caught offside.
38 mins - Saints put together a lovely passing move involving four minutes and are unfortunate to be unable to carve out a shooting chance at the end of it.
35 mins - Danny Grainger's persistence wins a corner and in a training ground move Dave Mackay makes a late run all the way from the half-way line to meet Liam Craig's corner kick but he is outjumped by a home defender and the danger is cleared.
28 mins - Liam Craig picks up possession 25 yards from goal and tries his luck but it whistles past Esson's right hand post.
27 mins - The game is going through a quieter spell but Saints are still the better side.
18 mins - A great chance for Saints as Parkin bursts through but he is denied in a one-on-one by keeper Esson right at the edge of the box. ICT were caught out by the fact that the original pass was played to Andy Jackson who was clearly offisde but he opted to leave it and Parkin burst forward unchallenged.
Saints are enjoying the best of the game while the home side have so far been unable to put together any meaningful move.
14 mins - Danny Grainger again proves useful down the left and when he crosses the ball in, it is cleared to Liam Craig but the midfielder shanks it high over the bar.
12 mins - ICT's Graeme Shinnie knocks a ball into the box but it runs straight through to Graeme Smith
8 mins - GOAL SAINTS! Michael Duberry has sent a long ball forward and Ross Tokely opts to leave it to run and it proves an expensive error because Collin Samuel is on it in a flash and gets ahead of Esson to the ball to fire home. ICT 0 SAINTS 1
5 mins - Another Grainger long throw from the same position causes consternation in the ICT defence and Ryan Esson is forced into his first save of the afternoon.
3 mins - A long throw from Danny Grainger eventually falls to Jody Morris whose shot is blocked.
1 min - Caley's Nick Ross tries to burst through but loses possession.
3.03pm - The match kicks off with Saints defending the stand where the Perth support are located. ICT take kick-off.
3.01pm - The teams take to the field with Saints in white jerseys, white shorts and white socks.
2.57pm - Welcome to the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness for this afternoon's SPL match against Inverness Caley Thistle - the first time the teams have met in the top league.
It's a beautiful day in the Highland Capital with a warm sun beating down on the Moray Firth.
Manager Derek McInnes hinted yesterday that he had one or two unnamed injury doubts for today's SPL game in Inverness and the players concerned turn out to be goalkeeper Peter Enckelman and midfielder Murray Davidson, neither of whom make the starting the eleven although the keeper is on the bench where there is also a place for striker Scott Dobie.

Inverness line up: Esson, Tokely, Duff, Odhiambo, Foran, Rooney, Hayes, Munro, Ross, Shinnie, McCann. Subs: Tuffey, Golabek, Duncan, McBain, Morrison, Sutherland, Sanchez.
