Callum Booth

Callum Booth joined Saints on a free transfer in September 2019 after finding himself without a club due to Bury's financial problems.

Booth - who had been at Dundee Utd until the summer of 2019 - is an experienced left-back who started his career at Hibernian where he progressed through the club's youth ranks.

Callum made 46 appearances for Hibs in all competitions during his time at Easter Road and also had loan spells with Arbroath, Brechin, Livingston, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle in that time before making the move to Firhill permanently in 2015.

While on-loan at Raith Rovers, Booth was part of the 2014 Challenge Cup-winning side - which included former Saints midfielder Kevin Moon - playing the full match in a 1-0 (AET) victory over Rangers.

After spending three-and-a-half-years at Thistle - six months on-loan, three years permanently - Booth moved to Tannadice to join Dundee Utd.

Following one season in Dundee, the full-back then decided to try his luck down south signing with League One outfit Bury. However, following the club's expulsion from the EFL due to financial difficulties, Booth was a free agent and joined Saints in September 2019.

He had to wait until early December for his debut which came in the 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Having impressed, he kept his place in the side which went on to keep four consecutive clean sheets and embark on six-match-unbeaten-run in all competitions.
