SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER 2020

This weekend sees St. Johnstone take on Ross County in what is shaping up to be an important fixture as Ross County sit 1 point above Saints in the table.

Callum Davidson is looking to build on last weeks performance against Motherwell which seen the Steelmen take an early lead and shut up shop. Ross County come into this game off a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Celtic, but that score line does not paint a clear picture of how County performed.

The referee for this fixture is David Munro and he will be assisted by Dougie Potter and Michael Banks.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The last time these two sides met was back in February where Ross county snatched a late equaliser thanks to a strike from Billy McKay in the 90th minute.

The Saints last victory against Ross County came back in 2018 when they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Murray Davidson in the first half.

This will be the 54th time St Johnstone and Ross County have met in all competitions, with the Saints coming out on top with 20 wins compared to Ross County’s 11, the sides have drawn 22 times.
