McDiarmid Park Pitch Cleared Ahead Of St. Mirren Match

We know St. Johnstone fans will be looking forward to tomorrow's match against St. Mirren Football Club which will be streamed live on Saints TV to season ticket holders and subscribers.

If you are local to Perth you will have experienced the heavy snowfall in the City over the last 36 hours. These conditions resulted in the first team training session being cancelled on Thursday morning and saw the McDiarmid Park pitch covered in five inches of snow.

However, thanks to the hard work of our Head Groundsman, Chris Smith, together with his ground staff team, the pitch and all roads and paths within the McDiarmid Park complex have been completely cleared. The undersoil heating has been on since Tuesday afternoon and has helped clear the pitch of any snow."
