Although we have hundreds of fans who follow us week in, week out and whose support of the team goes back many, many years, we never forget that for some fans, coming to McDiarmid Park may be a completely new experience.

Either way, we’ll be delighted to welcome you to the stadium and we hope that the information below will answer most if not all of the queries you may have. If not, simply phone us on 01738 459090 and we will be pleased to help further.
Details of all our forthcoming fixtures covering both home and away games can be found here: St Johnstone FC Fixtures - Saints Fixtures - First Team

Yes, there are spaces for well over 1,000 cars so it is very rare for there not be to be space. Our car park stewards will guide you to a space and you will be charged £5. The car park is within the confines of the stadium and you will have a very short walk to the turnstiles.
The vast majority of games at McDiarmid Park are not “all-ticket”. The exceptions are matches against Celtic. Very occasionally, a particular game against other opposition may be made all-ticket but this is rare. Details of any upcoming games which require tickets are shown here: www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/matchday-admission.ph...
Our Ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm.
For most games it is ‘cash at the turnstiles’ – that means you can simply turn up and pay into the game at the entry turnstiles. For these games you cannot pre-purchase tickets and only cash is accepted at the turnstiles. Current admission prices are shown here: www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/matchday-admission.ph...
The SSE Family Section of the Ormond Stand is our 'Family Stand'. This means that adults can only enter this stand if they are accompanied by at least one child aged Under 18.
Each adult can bring up to two kids aged 12 or under FREE OF CHARGE. Depending on the opposition, away fans will also be allowed access to this stand but where operationally this is an issue and we have to make it 'home support only', we will ensure that the away club receives a proportion of 'free kids tickets' for their area of the stadium.
Anyone coming into the ground who is likely to take up a seat for all or part of the match will be charged and on that basis toddlers will be charged. There is no charge for babies although the environment is not ideally suited for children as young as that. However, you will not be turned away because you have a baby with you – some of our keenest supporters like to get their new-born into the ‘St Johnstone habit’ as early as possible!
Please note that the only baby changing facility is within the administration area of the West Stand which we will be pleased to let you use if necessary but you will not be able to access this facility from any other stand.
If you are coming along as a ‘neutral’ fan or indeed to support Saints for the first time then you have a couple of options.
The bulk of the St Johnstone support sit in the East Stand but some prefer to sit in the Main Stand. Admission to the Main Stand is slightly more expensive than the East Stand (refer to price guidelines from link above). See also the information above on the Family Stand.
Unless it is an all-ticket game in which case you must sit in the row and seat number printed on your ticket, you can sit in any seat which does not have a sticker stating that it is reserved for a season ticket holder on the underside of the flip-up seat.
The following photograph should help you get your bearings:
Yes, the club shop is open 90 minutes before kick-off and again at the end of the match. Access to the club shop is gained from the main car park (see photo above). As well as a range of hats and scarves, most of the items on sale are smaller souvenirs and gifts at ‘pocket money’ prices. The day’s match programme is also on sale.
It is not the biggest of shops – definitely not a megastore! – and although it can appear busy at times, particularly closer to kick-off, please don’t let that put you off. Service is quick and once you get to the shop counter feel free to take your time to browse the items on display.
Please note that we don’t sell the club replica kit in the shop – you can buy that online from our kit supplier Joma/Total Teamware or from Campus Sports in Perth’s High Street.
See above question on 'Family Deals'.
Yes, the club operates its own food outlets throughout the stadium and you can buy hot and cold drinks, pies, hot dogs and a range of other snacks to help you enjoy your day. It’s cash only at the food kiosks. In August 2011 a BBC survey showed that we had the best priced pies and hot drinks in the UK!
We are pleased to advise that we have worked with our supplier of pies - Yorkes of Dundee – to make their product as healthy as possible. All livestock is reared under the Quality Meat Scotland accreditation scheme assuring our customers of genuine quality meat products. The mince is 90% lean beef mixed with seasoning rusk and water and are now lower salt and lower fat and higher quality than other pies.
We are one of the few Scottish clubs to offer water for sale.
We would encourage you not to as we believe you will enjoy the range of food we have to offer at our food kiosks. To comply with national ground regulations, you will NOT be permitted to enter the ground with any ‘controlled container’ i.e. bottles, cans, Tupperware boxes etc
Yes, there are male and female facilities in all stands.
Yes. Full details can be found here: St Johnstone FC - Disabled Supporters
Yes. Season Tickets are available throughout the season. Our Ticket Office staff will simply work out how many games of the season you could still see and work out a pro-rata price for you. We also sell half-season tickets in the run up to Christmas. Contact the Ticket Office on 01738 455000.
The vast majority of the information provided above applies to fans of teams visiting McDiarmid Park. In terms of which stand to use, this varies depending on the likely size of the travelling support and for all games will include the north end of the Main Stand, the North Stand or a combination of both. For very large travelling supports the Ormond Stand may also be used. Contact us on 01738 455000 a day or so before the match if you wish to know in advance or alternatively ask a steward when you get to the ground on the day of the match.
Call us on 01738 459099 between 9am and 5pm or
email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We would particularly welcome feedback from you after your visit – what did we do well? What could we have done better? Let us know via the above e-mail link.
