Tom Scobbie

A superb servant to home town club Falkirk, Tom became one of Saints' first signings in the summer of 2012.

A product of Grangemouth Boys Club it was in 2006 that he made his first team breakthrough with The Bairns in their Premier League campaign of that season and he immediately caught the eye.

International recognition quickly followed with caps won at Scotland Under 19 and then Under 21 level and he was capped a dozen times at the latter before he became too old.

With his five-year contract at an end and with Falkirk by this time playing in the First Division, Tom decided the time was right for a move and a return to the SPL with St Johnstone.

Having missed out on the 2014 Scottish Cup Final due to injury Tom has featured in 9 of Saints 12 Europa League matches and memorably scored the winning penalty in the 5 - 4 shoot-out success over FC Luzern during the 2014/15 campaign.

In April 2015 Tom signed a new two-year contract to remain in Perth until 2017 and he featured on a regular basis last season mostly in central defence

In February 2016 Tom scored his first Saints goal in a 3 - 4 defeat by Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park and has since gone on to make his 100th first team appearance in the 1 - 1 draw with Ross County on 16th March 2016.
