Keith Watson

Former Dundee United and Hibs defender Keith joined Saints in summer 2016 after a year at St Mirren, where the Livingston-born right back scored four goals in 26 appearances for the Paisley side.

Keith was part of the Dundee United side which won the Scottish Cup in 2010, as well as the side which lost to Saints in the 2014 final.

The versatile defender, known for his doggedness and intense work rate, joined Saints on a pre-contract after manager Tommy Wright had expressed an interest in him the previous season while he was at Easter Road.

Keith made his debut for St Johnstone in the pre-season friendly against Glentoran, impressing as Saints won 2-1 in Belfast. Keith spent much of his first season with Saints on the side-lines due to injury and only made six appearances, scoring one goal.

In August 2017 Keith joined Hartlepool United on loan until January 2018.
