Graham Cummins

Looking to bolster his options up front at the start of season 2015/2016 Tommy Wright swooped to sign Cummins on a one-year deal.

Although born in England, Graham has 1 cap at Under 23 level for the Republic of Ireland. This came in September 2010 against Estonia in Tallin.

Graham made his name with Cobh Ramblers, Waterford United and Cork City before moving to Preston North End in 2012 and following a loan spell with Rochdale he had spent season 2014/2015 with Exeter City where he played 36 league games, scoring 7 goals. Prior to moving to England, Cummins was twice top scorer for Cork City, netting 42 goals in just 62 appearances.  He won the Irish PFA First Division Player of the Year award in 2011 when he scored 24 goals, including an injury time header in a 2-1 win at Shelbourne which enabled Cork to pip the home side to the First Division Title.

Graham made his St Johnstone debut when he appeared as a substitute in the 2 - 1 win against Alashkert in the Europa League match at McDiarmid Park.

During the opening months of last season Graham impressed many; scoring six goals and having nine assists prior to picking up an injury against Kilmarnock in November 2015.

In December 2015 the Irish striker signed a contract extension which ties him to the club until May 2018.
