Tommy delighted with Zander contract news

Manager Tommy Wright has expressed his delight at the news that Zander Clark has extended his Perth contract.
We announced yesterday that the 24 year old keeper had added a further two years to his existing contract securing his McDiarmid Park future until 2020 and the Saints manager was pleased to have the deal done.
“Zander has been exceptional this season” Tommy told the Saints Official Website.
“He’s had to be very patient in recent years with Alan Mannus in possession of the keeper’s jersey but he’s grabbed his chance this season.
“The loan to Queen of the South proved very beneficial in his development and he is maturing into a top class keeper, showing a great level of consistency and playing at the top level in Scotland whilst still young for a goalkeeper. It’s a great bit of business by the club and I’m delighted.”
