Saints U20s lost 1-0 to Aberdeen for the third time this season this afternoon at New Central Park, Kelty for their final match of 2017.
Saints were reduced to ten men with 9 minutes of the first half remaining when Ben Quigley was sent off for a tug of Seb Ross’ shirt which was deemed to be a last man challenge by the referee.
The only goal of the game came on 62 minutes when The Dons were awarded a penalty after Scott Wright was brought down in the box by Ciarán Brian. The penalty was taken by Wright and he comfortably converted.
