MATCH PREVIEW | Albion Rovers vs Saints

Monday 29th January

It's a quick return to action for Saints tonight as, just two days after their last outing, they face Albion Rovers in the rearranged tie in The William Hill Scottish Cup.

Poor weather has been the cause of two previous postponements of this fourth round fixture and Saints will be desperate to quickly bounce back from Saturday's disappointing Premiership defeat to Partick Thistle.

Slow starts have been at the root of Saints problems in recent matches and Tommy Wright made it known after Saturday's game that Saints fans can expected to see several changes in the line-up tonight in Coatbridge.

David McMillan will miss the game tonight with a hamstring injury he picked up against Partick while Scott Tanser also looks set to miss the match after pulling up during the warm up on Saturday. Richard Foster is suspended.

Albion Rovers also head into the match coming off of a loss. Rovers suffered a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Stranraer to make it five games without an win for Brian Kerr’s side.

The winner of tonight's game will progress to the fifth round and play Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday 10 February.

Admission to the game tonight is by ticket only but these remain available to buy from the McDiarmid Park Ticket Office until 5pm today.
