Cameron Ballantyne was the latest Saints player to head out on-loan last week and the youngster made his BSC Glasgow debut at the weekend.

With a reduced fixture list due to the international schedule, Brechin City and Berwick Rangers had a free week meaning strikers Callum Hendry and Greg Hurst weren't in action.

17-year-old Ross Sinclair - who is at BSC Glasgow alongside Ballantyne - was on international duty with Scotland U18s and the Scone-based 'keeper played during the 1-1 draw with Uzbekistan in Spain on Wednesday.

The youngster made his BSC Glasgow debut and played the full 90 minutes in a fantastic 7-1 victory over Threave Rovers in the South Challenge Cup.

Ballantyne slotted into the BSC starting eleven nicely and the 18-year-old performed well in the convincing win at The Indodrill Stadium.

Ross Sinclair was unavailable for the match due to his international call-up for Scotland U18s.

BSC's next match is against Cumbernauld Colts in the William Hill Scottish Cup on Saturday.
