Saints are pleased to announce that another player has put pen to paper on an extended deal to remain with the club, with Liam Craig securing a deal through to the end of the 2018-2019 campaign.

Liam follows in the footsteps of Zander Clark, Richard Foster, Joe Shaughnessy, Brian Easton, Aaron Comrie, Liam Gordon, David Wotherspoon and Steven MacLean in extending his Perth stay.

In his second spell with the club he originally joined in June 2008 following a spell on loan from Falkirk FC, the midfielder is nearing the end of his second season with Saints after his return from Hibernian FC, Liam is closing in on his 300th appearance for the club and has been involved in all bar two Saints games this season.

Liam says of the deal; “I’m delighted that having been back for two years the club has shown this kind of commitment to me and I’m looking to have as much success over the next two years as we are currently enjoying. I think everyone knows my feelings for the club and it is great to have my immediate future sorted.”
