Craig Thomson joins Stranraer on loan

Last Thursday, midfielder Craig Thomson joined Stranraer FC on loan until January.

The 21 year old has been around the fringes of the first team having started 3 games and come off the bench on 11 other occasions in the past couple of seasons and Manager Tommy Wright says of the move: “We are strong in midfield and I have several options there and I think Craig needs regular games to further his development and this is the perfect opportunity.

“We’ll review it in January and look to bring him back when he can stake a more regular claim.”
