Saints Kidz COMMUNITY FOOTBALL PROGRAMME Next week sees the launch of SAINTS KIDZ – our new community football programme. Our regular Saturday morning sessions at McDiarmid Park begin again on Saturday 18th February and will include, for the first time, sessions for preschool 3 – 5 year olds … MINI KIDZ!. Before that, we have a 2-day Mid Term Holiday Course on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 February for boys and girls aged 5 to 16 on the Field Turf at McDiarmid from 1pm till 2.30pm each day. There is no need to book – just turn up and the charge is £5 payable each day. Full details of the Saints Kidz programme are available on our web site or get in touch to request a leaflet.

FOOTBALL MEMORIES This award-winning project provides the opportunity for men and women to get together and reminisce about games, players and goals from a time “when fitba was fitba”. We currently have places in the sessions in Blairgowrie and Crieff so if you, or a friend, relative, colleague or someone you care for would enjoy Football Memories then call for details: 01738 459095.

SAINTS QUIZ Just a few places are left for teams to enter the Saints Community Quiz so don’t leave it too late! Teams of 4 are invited to come along to McDiarmid Park on Thursday 23rd February at 7pm for 7.30pm. The Saints Quiz is known for being great fun and never too serious (the bar will be open!). An entry fee of £20 per team will be charged and a raffle will be held. Raffle Prize donations will be gratefully accepted with all proceeds going to the St Johnstone Community Trust. FOOTBALL FANS IN TRAINING A new Fit Fans course for women will begin on Thursday 16th February. The block of 13 weeks will take place every Thursday from 6.30pm - 8pm in the Muirton Suite at McDiarmid Park and is suitable for all women, especially those who would benefit from a fitter, healthier, more active lifestyle. With funding from the Scottish Government and the SPFL Trust, the course is FREE. Participants will cover topics such as weight management, diet and heathy eating as well as taking part in light physical exercise. Get in touch for more information and to book a place.

WALKING FOOTBALL Between 20 and 30 men and women are now regularly taking part in Walking Football, which takes place every Thursday from 7pm – 8pm and which allows you to keep playing when, for one reason or another, the traditional game is not an option. Come along to the Field Turf pitch at McDiarmid and you will be made very welcome. No need to book - just come along, pay £3 and make new friends while you have a laugh and keep fit. And remember … NO RUNNING!

FOOTBALL COACH EDUCATION COURSES 2017 Places are available for men and women aged 16 + in the following course which will take place next month at Kilgraston School, Bridge of Earn: Level 1.2 Coaching Young Footballers: 10am – 4pm on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March The 2-day course costs £60 with possible discounts available for Coaches attached to clubs who have achieved the appropriate SFA Quality Mark status.
