HALL OF FAME: JOHN CONNOLLY INTERVIEW AND MESSAGE TO FANS

John Connolly, who both played and managed St. Johnstone, was inducted into the club Hall of Fame last Sunday evening. Below you can watch his on-stage interview and read his personal message of thanks to the Saints fans who voted him into the Hall of Fame.
I would like to place on record my thanks to everyone who voted for my induction into the club’s Hall of Fame. It was a great honour for me to be inducted on Sunday evening along with the four other inductees.
To receive any recognition for the time I spent at the club is fantastic but when the fans take the time to send in their votes it makes it all the more rewarding.
I played for a few big clubs down south and played with and against some world class players but the best squad and my best days as a player were with the Willie Ormond team of the late sixties and early seventies.
