PRE-CUP MATCH BOOST AS MACCA SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION

Saints are delighted to announce that striker Steven MacLean has signed a contract extension with the club of one year, taking him to May 2017, and a further one year option.
The striker has netted 32 goals in his time with Saints and was back on the score sheet last weekend at Celtic Park. More on this story tomorrow.
In other business today, Under 20 players Neil Martyniuk and Greg Kerr have gone on Development Loan to Montrose FC and Whitehill Welfare FC respectively for the remainder of the season.
Both boys have been part of the successful Under 20 squad this season who have sat high in the SPFL Development League table throughout the campaign and are in the quarter finals of the SFA Little Big Shot Youth Cup -
A date for the quarter final tie against Motherwell FC has now been agreed – it will take place at Station Park, Forfar on Tuesday 9th February with a 2pm kick off.
