St. Johnstone drew 0-0 at home to Hamilton Accies at a wintry McDiarmid Park this afternoon in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Saints will be pleased to pick up a third clean sheet of the season but frustrated at once again not finding the back of the net, the fifth match in a row without a goal, despite a number of chances. Second half substitute John Sutton came closest with an effort which was cleared off the line by a Hamilton defender, while 'Man of the Match' Craig Thomson, who was making his first start for St. Johnstone, also saw his half-volley go just over the bar.

Next up for Saints is a trip to Parkhead on Saturday which will be followed by the League Cup semi-final with Hibernian at Tynecastle.
