Saints captain Dave Mackay believes his side won't take Alashkert lightly, despite the Armenian's having the 2nd lowest coefficient of all 51 unseeded sides.
The defender, who was at McDiarmid Park on Thursday morning to continue his rehabilitation following hip surgery, said: \"I don't know too much (about Armenian football) but I don't think their national team is too bad. I've seen they've have a couple of decent results lately. They'll be no mugs so you can't take them lightly, it'll be difficult over the two legs.
\"We've had a short pre-season again due to the season finishing later and the first round of Europe coming up so quickly. It's going to be difficult in the heat over there, it's going to be a tough tie but I'm sure it's one we're capable of winning.\"
