AUCHTERGAVEN PRIMARY SCHOOL WELCOME ST. JOHNSTONE DUO

Auchtergaven Primary School began their Health Week with a visit from St. Johnstone stars Steven MacLean and Tam Scobbie on Monday afternoon.
The players were welcomed into the school by excited children from the P6/7 class, before speaking to the entire 120-pupil school in the gym hall. Steven and Tam then posed for photographs and signed autographs as each class came up one-by-one to meet them.
The world's oldest national trophy - The Scottish Cup - was also in attendance and pupils had their chance to have their photos taken with it.
Leaflets and vouchers were also handed out to promote this Saturday's home match with St. Mirren - where under 13's go free when accompanied by a paying adult.
St. Johnstone's award-winning community department had also visited the school earlier in the day to run football sessions with pupils - led by community coach Andrew Steeves.
