This coming Saturday – 7th March – will be the 130th anniversary of St Johnstone’s first ever match.

On 7th March 1885, Saints played Caledonian Railway on the South Inch – emerging victorious by the only goal of the game - and to mark this anniversary, the club are hosting a display of archive material in the Muirton Suite on Saturday.

A selection of memorabilia will be on display, ranging from team photographs to printed memorabilia, a club Minute Book, old programmes, medals and tickets. This will also be the last opportunity for supporters to have their photograph taken with the Scottish Cup.

This free event runs from 10am to 1pm this Saturday and it is hoped that fans will take the opportunity to come along. Any supporters with items of their own which they would like to display for the day should contact the club on 01738 459090.
