SAINTS' SCOTTISH CUP DEFENCE CONTINUES IN DUMFRIES

26th July 2016

Transfer deadline signing Danny Swanson will be eligible to play against Queen of the South tomorrow (Saturday) and so may feature against the Doonhammers.

Tommy Wright will be without the suspended Lee Croft for the Scottish Cup 5th round tie and the Saints boss will wait to see if Chris Millar recovers from injury in time. Captain Dave Mackay should return to the line up after missing the last two matches.

Saints travel to Dumfries to face a Queen of the South side that have already beaten Hibernian, Falkirk and Rangers at home this season. Queens, who are 4th place in the Championship table, will go into the game full of confidence having last week defeated Cowdenbeath 5-0 at Central Park.

Zander Clark, on loan to Queen of the South from St. Johnstone, will be ineligible to play against his parent club.

St. Johnstone fans travelling to the match will be able to purchase tickets at Palmerston. But, to avoid queuing for the tickets we would advise all away fans to buy your tickets from McDiarmid Park in advance. You can buy them from the ticket office on Friday until 5pm.

Ticket prices are:

Adults: £16 Concessions*: £9 Under 16s: £5

*concessions are over 65s and students
