SAINTS TAKE DANNY SWANSON ON LOAN FROM COVENTRY CITY

Saints have beaten the transfer deadline to take midfielder Danny Swanson on loan from Coventry City for the remainder of the season and international clearance has been applied for.

The 28 year old former Dundee United player moved south to Peterborough United before moving to City last summer.

Manager Tommy Wright says: “He’s a talented player who I think will add quality to the squad at a crucial time of the season. We enquired about him previously but he was unavailable but he became available late this afternoon and I am delighted to have secured him.”
