SAINTS WIN IN PAISLEY

A first half goal by Michael O'Halloran was enough to earn the Perth Saints all three points at a very wet and windy St Mirren Park.
Brian Graham came closest to scoring in the second half with an effort which came off the inside of the post but came back out again as the Saintees pushed for a goal to kill the game off. St Mirren replied with some chances but couldn't find a way to break through a resolute back four and goalkeeper.
The result sees St Johnstone extend their unbeaten run in the league to six games as well as taking four wins from their last five encounters in all competitions.
